For most avian, terrestrial and aquatic studies, the R2000 is an excellent choice. Its 2 MHz frequency range (within a 30 MHz to 220 MHz spectrum) and 1 kHz channel spacing permits tracking of up to 200 targets. This receiver is programmable for automatic scanning or manual operation.

A full complement of controls are located on the front panel for operator convenience along with a large .5” display that is backlighted for nighttime visibility. It can be powered either by an external 12-volt source or its internal rechargable NiCad batteries.
