The ATS Data Collection Computer (DCC) combines data logging, data interpretation and automatic receiver control in a single unit. Its state-of-the-art design allows it to be used independently for data logging or easily interfaced with both the ATS R2100 Scientific or R4000 Scientific Receivers where it can be programmed to log data while providing complete control over all receiver operations for long-term unattended sessions. With 320K of RAM memory, the DCC provides ample storage for complex telemetry data, which can be easily downloaded to your PC or Macintosh computer for analysis, management and reporting. Other advanced capabilities include multiple antenna differentiation, decoding of pulse-coded transmitters, and the ability to interface with GPS receivers.

The DCC places all controls on the front panel, including a large 4-line LCD display and dual-function keypad, for user-friendly operation. The unit's programming, developed specifically for biologists by ATS biologists/engineers, is available in a variety of standard programs to meet the user's specific needs. Custom programming is also available.

The unit weighs just 1.5 kg and can be powered by an external DC source or its built-in NiCad battery pack.
