Advanced Telemetry Systems produces ear and tail-tag transmitters for use in applications where the attachment of a collar may not be appropriate. Examples are animals that are immature or have seasonal weight fluctuations. Since typical ear-tag transmitters have short, flexible antenna, the field range is less than a collar transmitter. ATS can provide transmitters with timed duty cycles which transmit for a specified number of hours per day and/or days per year. Two ear-tag transmitters may be attached to the animal for redundancy and may be programmed to turn on consecutively for longer life. All options may be customized to meet your research needs.

Transmitters are affixed to All-Flex ear tags.
