TRANSMITTERS
ATS designs and manufactures a comprehensive line of transmitters to study most any species in most any field environment, and to meet the widest range of telemetry research requirements. ATS proprietary designs feature state-of-the-art circuitry and construction that maximize the transmitter's performance, reliability, service life, and physical durability.
As you review our transmitters, please keep in mind that there are many function, attachment, and programmable options available that allow ATS to customize a transmitter for your specific application. If you don't see the specifications (life or weight) for a particular transmitter or application listed here, please call us - chances are we'll be able to build one for your requirements. To better understand the ins and outs of transmitters, you can read Choosing the Right Transmitter.
Our transmitters are organized below into five species groups, and again by attachment type. Following the links will take you to specific transmitter information and downloadable PDF transmitter specification reports.
On the downloadable specification sheets (PDF format), we list the the "Battery Capacity" in days, which is the nominal transmitter life based on the battery manufacturer's specifications. The transmitter "Warranty Life" is listed at the bottom of the page, expressed as a percent of the Battery Capacity, and represents the number of days ATS warranties that particular transmitter.
