Complete Insect, Bat, and Small Bird Tracking Package

Advanced Telemetry Systems’ tracking system is a result of a breakthrough in miniature transmitter technology. It allows researching entomologists and biologists to:
  • Remotely track the location, habitat use, home range, and numerous other insect and animal characteristics.
  • Utilize the same concepts used in fish and wildlife tracking the world over, whereby a dedicated telemetry radio receiver scans multiple frequencies to detect transmitters attached to animals, and now, insects.

A basic tracking system consists of:

  1. Any number of transmitters, such as the model A2412, which are then attached to the insects and animals.
  2. A telemetry receiver, like the ATS model R410 Scanning Receiver.
  3.  3-element folding Yagi antenna and cable.
