It’s simple:
- Choose your transmitter. Most cost about $150-$200 each. Larger animal collars are $200-$275 each. Transmitter weight and life are the two important variables. Also, tell us if there is a certain frequency range you need to use. Use the 3 Step Transmitter Selector, in the blue nav bar above; or, read more about choosing transmitters.
- Choose your receiver. For basic tracking work, use the R410 Receiver and a 3 element folding Yagi antenna (includes cable). They cost just under $1000, complete. More capable receiver-dataloggers are around $7000.
