Why an ATS Receiver?

ATS designs receivers for wildlife research tracking, and nothing else. There are many manufacturers of receivers that are not specifically designed for wildlife tracking, like wide band, handie-talkie types. These types of "generic" receivers will make your tracking more difficult.

Our receivers are built to withstand the rigors of the field. Our customers regularly send us 25 year old receivers for bench checks that are still in excellent operating condition.

We have designed a coding scheme shown to be 99% accurate in detecting coded transmitters. "False positives" are virtually eliminated. In various conference talks we have attended, we have seen that our competitor's coding architecture is nowhere near as accurate as our code-decode scheme.
